OneServ – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to OneServ. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of our mobile application/website (“Platform”) and the services offered through it. By accessing or using OneServ, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

1. Access to Service

OneServ provides a platform that enables users to request and schedule home-based and office- based services such as plumbing, cleaning, electrical work, and other third-party service providers (“Service Professionals”).

    • OneServ does not directly provide these services but facilitates connections between users and Service Professionals.
    • The quality, safety, and completion of the services are the sole responsibility of the Service Professionals.
2. Account Creation

(a) To avail the Services, you may be required to create an account on the OneServ Platform (“Account”). For this purpose, you may need to provide certain details, including but not limited to your Name, mobile number, Email Address etc. To create and maintain an Account, you must be at least 18 years of age.

(b)  After completing the login process, you may be required to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. For this, you may need to submit documents such as your Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a recent selfie photograph. This information will be used solely for identity verification and compliance purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

(c) You confirm that all information furnished in connection with your Account is accurate, complete, and up to date. You agree to promptly update your details on the Platform in the event of any change.

(d) You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account, including your login credentials. You agree to immediately notify OneServ of any unauthorised use of your Account or any other breach of security.

(e) You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account, whether performed by you or any other person. OneServ shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your Account.

3. Payment Related Information
    • Payments can be made using digital methods such as UPI, cards, and Netbanking transactions.
    • All digital payments are processed securely within the Platform.
    • OneServ acts solely as a facilitator; any service-related payment disputes between you and the Service Professional are not the liability of OneServ.
    • OneServ accepts only digital payments through the Platform. We do not authorize, or support cash payments made directly to Service Professionals. Any money handed over in person is entirely at your own risk, and OneServ will not be responsible for losses, disputes, or failed service claims arising from such offline transactions.
    • Transaction receipts and payment confirmations will be available within the Platform.
    • If a digital payment fails but the amount is deducted, a refund will be automatically initiated to your original payment method. Refund timelines depend on your bank or payment gateway.
    • OneServ does not store or have access to your card numbers or UPI PINs. All transactions are handled by authorised payment gateway partners.
4. Price of Service
    • Service prices may vary based on location, time of day, demand, and Service Professional availability. Any such changes will always be shown before you confirm your booking.
    • If the Service Professional identifies additional work after inspection, they may revise the estimated price. The revised price will be communicated to you for approval before work begins.
    • Charges for materials or spare parts are separate and billed based on actuals. You may request bills or proof of purchase.
    • OneServ does not impose hidden fees. All applicable charges will be displayed before booking.
    • Price estimates shown at the time of booking are indicative and may change based on real-time workload or on-site assessment.
5. Cancellation of Service
    • If you cancel after a Service Professional has been assigned or is en route, a nominal cancellation fee may apply, which will be clearly displayed during the cancellation process.
    • If the Service Professional arrives but cannot reach you due to unavailability or unresponsive behaviour, the booking may be marked as “Cancelled by User,” and a visit fee may apply.
    • If services are delayed due to weather, safety issues, or unforeseen emergencies, OneServ may reschedule your booking without penalty.
6. User Care
    • Users must treat Service Professionals with respect and provide a safe, clean environment for them to work.
    • Abusive, unlawful, or unsafe behaviour may result in account suspension or termination.
7. Beware of Fraud
    • OneServ will never ask for your password, OTP, or sensitive details outside the Platform.
    • Payments must only be made through the Platform’s digital payment options.
    • Please report any suspicious activity to OneServ immediately.
8. Use of Platform
    • You agree to use the Platform lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
    • You must not misuse the Platform, upload harmful content, attempt to hack or disrupt its functioning, or place fraudulent bookings.
9. Violation of These Terms
    • Any violation of these Terms may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of your account at OneServ’s discretion.
10. Suspension and Termination
    • OneServ reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or act in a manner harmful to Service Professionals, other users, or OneServ.
11. Data Security and Cloud Infrastructure
    • The OneServ platform is deployed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Your data is securely stored and protected in compliance with industry standards.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
    • Courts in Coimbatore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising under these Terms.
13. Severability
    • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Amendments
    • OneServ may revise or update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be published on the Platform and continued use after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
