At OneServ, transparency is the name of the game. This Cancellation Policy breaks down how cancellations and refunds work when you book services through our Platform (“OneServ”).
By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. User-Initiated Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation Before the Service Professional Starts En Route
If you cancel prior to the Service Professional begins traveling to your location:
- You’ll receive a full refund of any amount paid.
- No cancellation charges apply.
- Since payments are made digitally, your refund will automatically be initiated back to your original payment method.
1.2 Cancellation After the Service Professional Starts En Route
If you cancel after the Service Professional has started traveling:
- A cancellation fee will apply.
- This fee covers the Service Professional’s travel time, effort, and reserved slot.
- The fee amount will be clearly shown during the cancellation process.
- For prepaid bookings, the refundable amount will be sent back to your original payment method after deducting the cancellation fee.
This ensures fair compensation for the Service Professional’s time.
2. Missed Visits / Unavailability
If the Service Professional reaches your location but cannot proceed because:
- You’re unavailable,
- The location cannot be accessed, or
- You don’t respond to calls, chats, or messages,
the booking will be marked as Cancelled by User, and the cancellation fee or visit fee will apply.
3. Refund Timelines
For prepaid bookings:
- Refunds (after any applicable deductions) are initiated automatically.
Timelines depend on your bank or payment gateway (typically 3–7 business days).
4. Service Professional-Initiated Cancellation
If a Service Professional cancels due to availability issues or unforeseen circumstances:
- You won’t be charged any cancellation fee.
- OneServ will attempt to assign another professional as soon as possible.
- If a replacement isn’t available, a full refund will be issued (if applicable).
5. Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule:
- It’s free if done before the Service Professional begins traveling.
- A reschedule fee may apply if the Service Professional is already en route.
6. Weather, Safety, or Emergency Interruptions
If the booking can’t move forward due to:
- Severe weather,
- Roadblocks,
- Safety concerns, or
- Other emergencies,
OneServ may reschedule or cancel your booking at no additional cost.
7. Final Notes
- Cancellation fees exist to fairly compensate Service Professionals for their time and travel.
- All charges and fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm a cancellation.
- Continuing to use OneServ signifies your acceptance of this Cancellation Policy.
8. Policy Updates
OneServ may update or modify this Cancellation Policy periodically.
We encourage you to review the latest version to stay informed about any changes.
